SOF ISO Class 2: syllabus, paper pattern and sample questions
The SOF International Science Olympiad (formerly NSO) for Class 2 is a 60-minute paper of 35 questions for 40 marks in 3 sections. Every question has four options and one right answer. The last 5 questions are the Achievers Section, worth 2 marks each. Below: how the paper is set out, the 10 chapters it draws on, one sample question from each section with its answer, and how to practise it for free.

Syllabus: the 10 chapters

How to practise ISO Class 2 on Sprinto
- One island per chapter. A hidden rating per chapter picks the next science question at the difficulty that is just hard enough today.
- Mistakes come back. Anything she gets wrong returns a few days later, then a week, then a month, until it stops being a mistake.
- Mock tests in the real shape. 35 questions, 3 sections, 60 minutes, marked the moment she hands it in.
- Papers you can print. A full ISO Class 2 paper with an OMR sheet, sat at the table with a pencil.
Free, with no ads and nothing to buy. A parent signs in with Google once; the child taps her face and starts.
