SOF ISO Class 3: syllabus, paper pattern and sample questions
The SOF International Science Olympiad (formerly NSO) for Class 3 is a 60-minute paper of 35 questions for 40 marks in 3 sections. Every question has four options and one right answer. The last 5 questions are the Achievers Section, worth 2 marks each. Below: how the paper is set out, the 11 chapters it draws on, one sample question from each section with its answer, and how to practise it for free.

How to practise ISO Class 3 on Sprinto
- One island per chapter. A hidden rating per chapter picks the next science question at the difficulty that is just hard enough today.
- Mistakes come back. Anything she gets wrong returns a few days later, then a week, then a month, until it stops being a mistake.
- Mock tests in the real shape. 35 questions, 3 sections, 60 minutes, marked the moment she hands it in.
- Papers you can print. A full ISO Class 3 paper with an OMR sheet, sat at the table with a pencil.
Free, with no ads and nothing to buy. A parent signs in with Google once; the child taps her face and starts.
